    Sunday's special

"Set your minds on the things above, not on earthly things."
    -Colossians 3:2

    1 November 2009
Apologize to all again for the late update! Last weekend was great spending my time with my beloved sisters in christ. Received message saying that dance practise on Saturday night will be till midnight and I decided to sleep over at Kaili's house together with Yuan Ling. But dance practise ended early because we only practise for the opening and closing dance. We had our supper at late midnight. All of us were tired that night and due to next morning got to wake up early for church and we decided to turn in.

Is blissful & great when you have your best friends sleeping by your side. Kicking and turning in the midnight. The three best-friends had worn same colour shirt to sleep. Not childish though, is called special!

    Look!

We wore purple colour, the uniqe colour to sleep! I love them.
& We can be very crazy too! You will never know. Hahah
    *
Sunday morning! We woke up by a smile on our faces, brush up and prepare to church. Three best-friend went to church happily knowing that they are late for service!

Photo taking session after first service. . . . as usual!

I love this shot of her.
We don't look alike because we are sister in christ!
    Smile on our faces!

You see me standing there? GAP stand for Go And Preach.
The fake man was remove and I went up there.

"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."
    -Romans 12:12
2E2, "Until we achieve the best"

This was a very special banner to all of us. I do hope that it will still be hanging in the homeroom next year which is I don't think so it will be (?) It is a memorable banner which all of us did in secondary 1. Time flies and now we are all in sec 2 going to sec 3 next year. Yes indeed is very fast, super duper fast. Sometimes I do wonders, is it the moon moves faster than the sun or is it the sun moves faster than the moon. Why do one day or one week just pfftt passed so fast?

    2E2 rock the best.

I had a most wonderful year spending my secondary school life with this awesome, funny, hyper, talkactive & whatever-you-can-think-of class. Is quite sad when I know the fact that all of us will be in different classes next year. But of course all the memories that we'd shared will be remembered. & till now, I'm still quite sad over it but life still have to move on no matter what isn't it?

Pardon me getting sentimental maybe is just the fact. . . .

2E2, thank you so much for bringing so much laughter to me for the past one year.

Things do change right? I'm very sure that everything will change next year. All of us will not be the same anymore. This is part of the reason why that I'm sad. I'm still very hard to accept the fact that all of us will be in different classes. One year older next year, it will not be as innocent as this year. It will not be as hyper as this year. It will not be as fun as this year. Or perhaps, some of us will become stranger. Walking pass by us without saying 'Hi' next year. Bet with me, it will sure do have people like this.

2E2, All the best to you guys!

Life still have to move on no matter what. I thank God for bringing me into this class. Maybe it might not be as perfect as the other classes, but to me you guys \m/ the best!

Best wishes from me & great years ahead! Enjoy the great & long holidays.

    Mdm Aini's farewell.

Sorry for the overdue update! I remembered I was late in the morning for the councillors meeting. We had a surprise farewell for Mdm Aini (our principal) as this is her last year in FTPSS. It started with uniform group march in the parade square and all of the students was standing along the corridor.
This was the banner done by fellow student councillors. It was rather huge.
We dedicated a song to Mdm Aini & is our school song! Special isn't it? Not other song but school song.

& speech by Mdm Aini. Yeah so practically this is all what I can remember.

    Photo session with Mdm Aini,

The girls & boy with Mdm Aini.
    Student councillors with Mdm Aini!
& Lastly, secondary 2 students with Mdm Aini.

My eyes are half-closing. Hello guys! I am back from the 5 days Leadership Training Camp. Feeling very proud of myself that I manage to survive through it eventhough I was having a super headace in the 2nd day of the camp.

    What we do?!?!
    • Endurance run
    • Night walk & sleep over @ Lim Chu Kang Cementry
    • Sentosa - Amazing Race
Once again, I look tan because of the scorching hot sun.

Basically everyone did somehow 'enjoy' the camp. We laughed, cried, pissed off. Am I right to say that? Though previously I was keep on saying that I am not looking forward to it, but now the nightmare had ended. I felt the sense of achivement in me that I manage to pull through.

Talking in-front of 60++ pairs of eyes looking at you is seriously not easy. Represented my team to spoke to all about the feeling after camp. Hey! You might not know that I am actually shivering in front while talking. Thanks for the claps & laughter! This somehow encourage me. . . alot!
Damn nervous. Look at my face!

Shall not elaborate more about the training camp. Find it out yourself! ;)

Lastly, we have learned alot on how to lead & give clear instruction through this camp. Prepare to lead guys!

    Pictures:
I look shag & tired in those pictures, Camp is suppose to be tiring right?! Enjoy.

Each of the team was carrying this haversack during the endurance run & the amazing race in Sentosa.

    Look this!
( Can you see me? )
Look at my Face, Hands & Legs! This was the picture taken after the amazing race at Sentosa under the scorching hot sun. I look tan but Nic doesn't, is true!

Today was the last day of camp which is also a school day for others, they saw their friends in school and look like as if hundredthousandmillion years didnt see them. They went (Screaming & shouting -.-). But actually I do miss them too! Class was so quite without . . . me right?! =P
    End of LTC'2009.

    End of year results! ( :) :D :X :S :( :| )
Saw the face expression? I got a just passed marks for History & Science. Sad to say that I have spent so much times studying especially for this two subject but I still can't score so well. The irony is that, I get quite good grade for other subject which I did not spent so much time studying. I'm so glad for my Literature results, I didnt expect I will do quite well, to me is very good already. From Sec 1 till starting of the year, Literature is the subject I kept failing. Practise make perfect isn't? Too bad I practise alot for maths but still failed my Maths by 3 marks this time round. I got to say goodbye to A-Math next year. Hais Haiz Haix, when will I at least get a pass for Maths? My art grade was quite good, at least my 3 years old kid drawing saved me. My Geography grade was always average. I'm thinking whether will I regret taking Geography next year or not because Literature sound not bad to me too! Hmph.

Give all glory to God! Although not all the subject do well but at least I know all the effort that I have put in and with God's help, I am very happy already. This is why I always said, Prayer is important. Prayer is a key to success. God, Lead me and show me the way I should go for next year.

Tomorrow is promotion day which means is a holiday to us, I'm looking forward to get back my results slip. School left 1 week left, I guess holidays starting soon. I somehow don't like it, because study will get you busy, when you don't you feel bored. Grrr!
    *

    Cupcakes!
I'm so in love with all these cute little cupcakes nowadays. Crystal Jade have sell alot of cupcakes but I feel like baking it myself this coming holidays. I need recipe & does anyone knows where to get the information/recipe/instruction online to do the cupcakes?? Is time to hunt for cupcakes!

A little love can make a big difference

    Before I start, I have an announcement to make, that is . . . . . . . . . .
End Of Year exam has ended!
    *
I love this photograph. It was taken a week ago when I was taking my study break one evening.

Exams are over and we will get back our results soon. I can't wait to know my results *Keeping my finger crossed* After one week of study study & still study, I finally could take a break. Holidays are coming real soon, had planned so much programme to do with my classmates.

Today was a school holiday for us due to is a marking day. I prefer exam though, studying will get you busy. I'm leaving for 5 days camp tomorrow, regretted. Enjoy without me, classmates! Urgh x1000000. I hope I will survive, LOL.

I have this every morning before I make my way to school during exam period. & I want to thanks mummy that always being there for me during this exam period. And also, friends beside me. Thanks for everything guys!

A little love can make a big difference.
This little note really made my day. I will not revive who is the person who gave me this. But she was totally being so sweet though is just a small little notes. She send me a message who brighten up my day too. Earlier on, this girl came to me told me that she was being friendless in school after mid-year. & She even said that she did not want to go for the camp due to 'friends'. So I had a little talk with her and told her many stuff. I didnt know that my words impact her so much, she said to me that she will not fear of being friendless anymore, she will be confident in future. Yes girl, Stay strong. You still have me by your side! :)
    *
A hillsong to share with. This song accompanied me thoughout the exam period.

    Hillsong- From the inside out

    A thousand times I've failed
    Still your mercy remains
    And should I stumble again
Still I'm caught in your grace

Everlasting, Your light will shine when all else fades
Never ending, Your glory goes beyond all fame
my heart and my soul, Lord I give you control
Consume me from the inside out Lord
Let justice and praise become my embrace
To love You from the inside out

Your will above all else, my purpose remains
The art of losing myself in bringing you praise
    *

"We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes us."
    -Romans 8:26
One night I was praying for my exams, and as I closed my eyes started praying in tongue many of you came to my mind. God want me to pray for each and everyone of you for exam. People such as Amanda, Nicole, Elizabeth, my whole classmates. . . .

During this exam period, God take away my stress. Instead, I was having alot of fun, laughing all the way with my friends. Exam should be stress but to us, we look so happy and hyper everyday of the exam.

I'm waiting for my results. No matter how the results is, I will still thank God that He is the one who guide me all of the days. Although questions on Maths paper is kind of disappoint me but I know God had a better plan for me. I just hope I will pass every subject after studying so many days. Especially Science, I spent almost 10 full hours to study before the exam.

Wait for me to update my results to you guys.

    God is great!

    26 September 2009.
Sorry for the super late update. As I said earlier on, I will be visiting MV Doulos. I brought back pictures of the ship that I took myself. This is the last chance I get to see Doulos ship as I went online search is true that this is the last year this ship is visiting Malaysia and also Singapore. "She (Doulos ship) is currently doing her last world tour and was planned to be de-commissioned in 2010"

I manage to have a few minutes talk with the on board workers. They are all nice and friendly. One of them was from Spain and one of them was from South Africa. Both of their whole families were working and living on board. Their children schooling on board, even giving birth on board. How I wish when I'm old and retire, I will spent my life on board but too bad till then Doulos ship will stop touring around the world.

Nice trip to Doulos this time round. I did not upload all the pictures here, to view more pictures that I took on board you may visit my Facebook photo album:
    MV Doulos (Facebook)
Even though you're not in my friend list you still can view the pictures! Click on the link & enjoy!

For more infomation about Doulos ship, you may visit the website:

And also Wikipedia to know more about the history of the ship:
